Well, it’s that time of year again with summer officially approaching, I begin to allow my imagination 💭 to roam to the serene blue picturesque Mediterranean sea 🌊. Where the sun kisses you in a romantic and dazzling way and where every second is a vogue snapshot of living your best life 💋.

I’m talking about a wonder 💭 land filled with sexy and joyous times at the various beach 🏖️ clubs during the day, finished with a sultry and sensational night of wining and dining and dancing to tribal house at the Scorpios 🦂 Mykonos Beach club by night. Travel to the old town city center where there are no cars allowed and get lost in the maze of fashion boutiques, scrumptious restaurants and tempting bars until you decide you are found.

Mykonos, an island in the Cyclades group in the Aegean Sea 🌊, is where you can find a vivacious international lively atmosphere, attracting world-renowned DJs that serenade you with their curation of sonic frequencies well into dawn.

Whitewashed houses, alleyways and chapels drenched in a cool and chic cosmopolitan vibe with the luxury accommodations to match, Mykonos is just one of those places you have to go and experience for yourself to decide if it lives up to all the hype. I know I did and trust me when I tell you, it was a divine time to be experienced and devoured.

HOTELS:

THE WILD HOTEL BY INTERNI

🌈THE 🌴 WILD 😜 Hotel by Interni was the first hotel I stayed at in Mykonos, Greece. Talk about the perfect way to kick off your trip.

🌴 Between the stunning views, charming and beautiful staff, best Kagianas (Greek scrambled eggs with tomatoes and feta cheese) and ice latte along with the player suite I had with my own personal plunge pool, incredible view and lounge area – I was pretty much blown out of my mind 🤯. This hotel made all the many flights and delays and travel challenges well worth it.

💚 I mean talk about breath taking views of sunsets and sunrises. The Wild by Interni is a sanctuary in and of itself – nestled in a quiet part of Mykonos, Greece 🇬🇷 away from all the tourism  and action, but close enough to get your groove on and then come back to your own peaceful oasis in no time.

🌴Chill by their spectacular sea-salt water pool with an incredible view of the Aegean Sea (don’t be surprised if @catherine_konstantinidou offers you a shot poolside) or decide to be more of a bush woman or man and venture down to their secluded rock-studded  jungle beauty of a beach 🏝. Either selection will not disappoint!

💚Oh  and if you want to workout and do yoga or write a book in one of their architectural digest designer common areas, you will be sure to find your source of solace or inspiration waiting for you to engage and activate. This property is truly a gem 💎 and it’s where one remembers that being born to be wild is not such a crime at all 💋.

BRANCO HOTEL

Very welcoming with a refreshing 💦 welcome drink (non alcoholic beverage) to match. I was royally greeted and guided through a stellar tour around the property, highlighting the amenities and cool attractions in town. Velocity black set me up with a lovely Honeymoon suite all to myself with a sun deck and jacuzzi, beach view if I may add. With complimentary breakfast, spa and gym access, I had at my finger tips everything I desired and needed to de-flame 🔥 from my long journey. I mean I literally did not have to leave the premises because Branco also is wildly known for its beach club centered atmosphere.

While this location is situated in a more lively area of Mykonos, they do a fabulous job of providing a very secluded and private experience catered to their hotel guests.

MYCONIAN NAIA

Intimate, plush and a complete day 💭 dream. As soon as I stepped out of the car at the Myconian Naia, a beautiful woman approached me and said, “you must be CRISTEN.” Not sure 🤔 how she perfectly timed my arrival, but I most certainly delighted 😃 in the rare and special greeting and knew quickly that I would find myself at home here.

As I made my way to check in, I saw the most magical and amazing sunset. The panoramic view of Mykonos was absolutely breathtaking and surreal. The tea served for a  welcome drink after a little Veuve Clicquot on the house definitely was a classy and refreshing touch. Needless to say, the staff is on point here and they go over and beyond to ensure that you feel at ease.

With three restaurants, pool and an insanely incredible spa on the property, the Myconian Naia definitely knows how to spoil their guests.

The Satory spa was my favorite pastime here. “The superb facility includes five heated thalassotherapy pools, that draw on the cleansing and curative properties of seawater praised since Greek antiquity, and are complemented by essential oils and hydro-massage.” Sauna, gym, yoga, pilates and other wellness coaching modalities are available also.

As for my accommodations, they were stunningly gorgeous. I had my own personal sea salt water plunge pool with an amazing view of the sea and inside the room the walls were stone which added a grounding element that was very much appreciated. Upon entering into my room, a delectable fruit plate and bottle of Prosecco to wash it down with awaited my arrival.

KENSHO BOUTIQUE HOTEL & SUITES

Last and certainly not least is another swept off my feet 👣 experience at the Kensho Boutique Hotel & Suites made possible by Velocity Black of course.

Not to mention, I had my very best dinner here  at their restaurant. I am talking about Michelin star ⭐️ level with no extra flavor needed.

Whether decompressing in their cave spa or swaying to and fro in their hammock swing at the Kenshō Ornos Sunset & Lounge on the pool deck, there was never a dull moment.
