We love Paris Fashion week; after all, Paris really is recognised to be amongst the fashion capitals of the world.
Over the past week we have been keeping our eye out for some of the most amazing trends that we will all be desperate to rock next Spring! So what are they and why do we love them so?
Stella McCartney
It seemed that one theme running through the Stella McCartney show has to be big shoulders. Whether it was in the blouses or the tailored shirt dresses, it was definitely a case of bigger is beautiful with shoulders. Not only were the shoulders big in this particular runway show; but the trousers seemed to be sizeable too!

LOUIS VUITTON
Watching the LV catwalk, we were delighted to see that the cold shoulder style is still making an appearance on their runway. However, it does seem that for SS17 there has been somewhat of a style overhaul of this popular fashion!
The Louis Vuitton show was packed full of one sleeved looks and for those tops and dresses that had double the sleeves, there was still the chance to bare some flesh during those early months of Spring. The catwalk also had a beautiful mix of tailored outfits with plunging fronts, perfect for a daytime to evening look!
Valentino
One of the things that we spotted on the Valentino catwalk had to be the eye-catching hot pink colour scheme.

Not only did the Valentino catwalk pick this shade as their colour of choice, but this colour was also seen on the Celine and Balenciaga show too!
Whilst it wasn’t all pink at the Valentino show, where black leather, white lace and red pleats also made an appearance. One theme that definitely flowed through the entire catwalk had to be a feminine and flowing look.
Celine
The Celine show was not only dedicated to the hot pink shade, it also boasted some lovely boxy tailoring too. Larger jackets were put over flared trousers or fluid and flowing skirts, ideal for making a stylish appearance in the office.
A nod has to go out to the men of Paris Fashion Week, in particular Usher, who arrived to the Chanel show wearing head to toe black and really encapsulating the simplistic yet ultra-stylish feel of the Parisian fashion event! Also, let’s not forget the effortless style of fashion icon Liya Kebede, who rocked a beautifully flowing and oversized outfit at the Valentino show.
