Mr. Virgil Abloh, 37, and a first-generation Ghanaian-American man raised in Illinois will be the next artistic director of one of the most powerful European fashion houses in luxury business, Louis Vuitton. The founder of street haute couture Brand, Off-White,  longtime creative collaborator to Kanye West, Virgil is most definitely, “fashion’s purveyors of C😎😎L” and will continue to lead the movement where luxury and streetwear reign.” Virgil is incredibly good at creating bridges between the classic and the zeitgeist of the moment,” said Michael Burke, who first met Virgil in 2006 when he interned with Kanye West at Fendi for $500 a month while Burke was the CEO.

Abloh’s disruptive and progressive nature continues to enchant the fashion world in a way that is truly unparalleled. Abloh was taught by his mom who was a seamstress and he also studied architecture and civil engineering, which most definitely complements his designs and approach to fashion. Never having gone to fashion school, Abloh proves that there are many different ways to pursue your passions and dreams.
